Will - you haven't posted the material that you were supposed to post by this week - band biog, lyric analysis, song structure - why?
ReplyDeleteThe exploration of conventions is sound, you've deconstructed the promo in detail and have explored theory in an effective way.
Your next step is to analyse two or three promos of the same genre as you are producing and analyse how they use conventions - needs to be genre specific. Still look at camerawork, editing and especially mise-en-scene as indicators of genre.
